Toyo Denki Industrial, Japan developed the concept of the heavy duty submersible pump, integrating an agitator, in 1948.

Since then, Toyo Denki Industrial has created a large range of heavy duty submersible pumps with agitator and became the leading manufacturer of that type of pumps.

Today, the Toyo group, still family owned, is present worldwide.

Toyo Pumps Europe is involved in the pump business since 1969 and became a subsidiary of Toyo Denki Industrial & Co. Ltd, Japan in 2002.
